The northwestern region of Saudi Arabia stands out for its spectacular landscapes. It is best known for Al’Ula, with its UNESCO site of Hegra and its lush oasis. Further north, you’ll find the stunning Hisma Desert, whose mountains resemble those of Wadi Rum in Jordan. This region is rapidly evolving with the futuristic NEOM project, including The Line, a 170 km-long linear city cutting across the area. It’s also the region most featured on my blog, as I have the chance to visit it often.
