Travelling as a single woman is really safe. It is easy to get around and the Uzbeks are extremely hospitable.

Hi, there! I’m Gaelle and while visiting many of the 70+ countries I've travelled to, I have tried to avoid the crowds of tourists, handrail-flanked walkways and the 'stand here to take your selfie'.
